It is also a completely scalable and adaptable installation, for an indoor as well as an outdoor space.
The main idea is to create each time a new polygonal shape and use the anamorphosis “hot spot” to give the public the impression it is coming out of the wall / building.
The flat 3D volume can be printed on cheap laser printer and then glue pasted onto a wall or can be drawn with sharpy pen directly on the wall, giving it a “stippling” aesthetic.
The result comes to life thanks to projection (single projector or multiple projectors) that can be a loop, generative, audio reactive, …

TESSELATED ATLANTA
Made in October 2014 in Atlanta as part of the festival ELEVATE and France/Atlanta.
The indoor piece was shown in Gallery 72 for a month and the outdoor piece was shown as a one night performance on the block across the gallery.
