visual installation
projection surface, videoprojector, computer

Edges is an installation made of an architectural structure onto which minimal geometric patterns are projected. It explores a visual language made of lines, grids and shapes organized to play with our perception of space, sometimes creating the illusion of three-dimensionality and shifting planes.
The work invites a slow discovery of space, moving from the flatness of the surface toward the suggestion of volume. With simple elements, it shows how easily the eye can be deceived, while revealing the basic principles of video mapping: transforming a surface through light and projection. Rooted in the studio’s early practice and its enduring fascination with minimal geometry, the work also echoes the influence of Sol LeWitt, where simple rules and elementary forms can generate complex spatial experiences.
