Edges
Visual installation, video projection on three surfaces, 2020 – 2021
Edges is an installation made out of a simple architectural structure onto which are projected minimal geometric patterns. Joanie explores a dehumanized technological landscape, interconnections, and dense networks creating confined panoramas. The visual vocabulary is made of simple geometry, lines, grids, shapes, and shadows organized to play with our perception of space, creating sometimes three-dimensional feelings and moving planes
